The Mount Petrie State School website sports a simple tabbed menu-bar for intuitive navigation between the main sections of the site.

As a subsidiary site of the Queensland Education website, several recommendations were made for the presentation of information in order to adhere to the Smart Service Queensland Consistent User Experience. One of these recommendations was that any non-html document be identified and their size recorded so that a user will know what, and how much they are downloading.
To achieve this in an unobtrusive and accessible manner, I implemented a simple faux-tooltip arrangement that would allow the client to identify documents without compromising the layout of the page.
